Completing the digital single market could help to lift Europe out of crisis by creating an extra €110bn of demand every year, according to the European Commission. This week the European Parliament's internal market and consumer protection committee has been considering a report by EPP member Pablo Arias from Spain on the Commission's proposals for extending the digital single market and breaking down national barriers to growth.
